New Release: Jeff Dingler’s How About You?
Bassist Jeff Dingler joined guitarist Tom Dempsey and drummer Joe Brown Jr. perform a set of swinging straight ahead standards.
For this project, Dingler is joined in a classic trio by veteran guitarist Tom Dempsey (who has worked with everyone from Wynton Marsalis, Paquito D’Rivera and Kenny Barron to Mel Torme and Dave Brubeck in addition to leading seven of his own albums) and the supportive drummer Joe Brown Jr. Together they perform eight jazz standards and the boppish blues “Joevial.”
