Andy Reiss receives the Jazz Heritage Award!
Each year the Nashville Jazz Workshop presents the Jazz Heritage Award to someone who has promoted excellence in jazz.
This year’s award went to guitarist Andy Reiss. Andy has been a mainstay of Nashville’s jazz scene for many years. An in-demand session player, Andy has been a link between NJW and many of Music City’s most esteemed musicians. He’s influenced countless developing players and has regularly taught and performed at NJW. A founding member of the Time Jumpers, Andy is also a member of the Lori Mechem Quartet.
Congratulations Andy!
The Nashville Jazz Workshop is a non-profit organization supporting jazz musicians, jazz fans, and the jazz community with classes, public performances, and special events. Donate to help NJW.
