In this installment of Ted Ludwig’s Jazz ‘Lick of the Week’, Ted takes a look at Blues Triplets!
This line is a pentatonic-based blues line that utilizes the iconic triplet pattern used by jazz guitar greats such as; Kenny Burrell and George Benson. In this particular line, I decided to incorporate two sequential patterns that work well together. Try using this line on a nice funky groove tune or shuffle.
Enjoy. And thanks for tuning in! See you next time.
