“Jingle Bells” Arrangement For The Holidays
Looking back at a lesson from 2019. JGT contributor and educator Bill Farrish shares his special holiday guitar arrangement
With the holidays approaching I gave my Harmony 2 Class at Five Towns College an assignment to reharmonize a seasonal song to be performed as a ballad (class code for MANY CHORDS) using what they’ve learned so far. Basically Secondary Dominant 7th chords and Tritone Substitutions. I thought it would also be a good topic for my monthly column for Jazz Guitar Today.
So here it is, Happy Holidays to Everyone! – Bill
