Guitarist Ted Ludwig demonstrates the Jim Triggs New Yorker from the Blue Guitar Collection – video #12 in the series.
Jim Triggs worked for many years at the Gibson custom shop before setting up under his own name. Triggs’s contribution to The Blue Guitar Collection is this spectacularly decked-out New Yorker model – ever seen a sunburst fretboard before? Abalone pickguard? Neither had we – and it’s a big sound for rhythm playing too!
Each week Jazz Guitar Today will feature one of the Archtop Foundationβs acquisitions from the Blue Guitar Collection with videos of luminary guitarist Ted Ludwig performing on each one.
Videos produced by Michael Watts with the Archtop Foundation.
