Jazz guitarist Vince Lewis continues his JGT Arrangement Series with the classic, “That Sunday, That Summer”.
This tune was the highest-ranking tune ever recorded by Nat Cole. Written by Joe Sherman and George David Weiss it was released in 1963 and reached number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 3 on the Adult Contemporary Charts. A beautiful melody with great lyrics and interesting harmonic twists in the middle section.
