Help Jimmy Bruno In The Tragic Loss Of Peggy Bruno

Frank Vignola has set up a GOFUNDME page to help Jimmy Bruno – read Frank’s request below.

When one of us is down, we’re all down.

My dear friend Jimmy Bruno sadly lost his wife of 50 years unexpectedly this past weekend. He is devastated and my heart goes out to him and his family.

Jimmy is a jazz guitar legend and teacher who brings so much joy to this world with his exceptional talent and no-holds-barred sense of humor. Anyone who knows him is aware that he is one-of-a-kind. He met Peggy in high school and she had been with him throughout his career beginning with his first tour with Buddy Rich at only 19 years old.

Jimmy, himself, almost lost his life in 2017 when he fell down his stairs landing him in a coma for several months, then a wheelchair. This accident was a big financial hit for him and Peggy. I am so grateful he survived and recuperated so he can continue to share his genius.

Peggy Bruno was an amazing woman who was full of life and laughter. She and Jimmy were so connected that they married each other 3 times. She was a retired emergency room nurse who also cooked, cleaned, and shopped for Jimmy. I am setting up this GoFundMe in the hopes that Jimmy will be able to get help in these areas so his house does not overwhelm him or affect his health. My goal is for him to have peace of mind and not to be worried about expenses and trying to handle everything in the household himself.

Please consider donating any amount to help Jimmy along as he grieves and adjusts to a new normal. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Frank Vignola
