In this JGT video lesson, Davy Mooney revisits Wayne Shorter’s masterpiece “Ana Maria,” after two years of teaching it in his advanced improv course each semester. He considers the original version from “Native Dancer,” along with Kenny Kirkland’s rendition and the perfect chorus Nicholas Payton plays on the Adonis Rose album “The Unity.”
