Paul Fischer

Paul Fischer completed his Masters of Music in the Jazz Studies department at Georgia State University. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree (Jazz Major) from Goucher College, he moved to Seattle, Washington, where he studied privately with Randy Halberstadt, Don Mock, and Kevin Callahan. Mr. Fischer has performed for over a decade, including appearances at Jazz a Vienne, The Ballard Jazz Festival, The East Coast Jazz Festival and has toured with Soft Shoe Shuffle, Camille Bloom and Bright Archer. Mr. Fischer has recorded several albums including two with drummer Barrett Martin’s group for Sunyata records. Mr. Fischer is interested in many varying types of music and particularly enjoys playing Boogaloo music of the 60’s and 70’s.
