Keeping up with…Oz Noy

Since Oz was on the cover of Jazz Guitar Today back in March, he’s been keeping busy including finishing a European tour with Dennis Chambers & Jimmy Haslip.

Oz is about to start a US tour with Dave Weckl & Hadrien Feraud. Also, he has some dates in Japan & NYC. The Iridium dates are coming up with Keith Carlock & John Patitucci. Check out the tour dates.

Oz – “Also, finishing the Vol.2 of my latest Booga Looga Loo album, not exactly sure what the name of the new album will be but it is the 2nd part of my latest Boogaloo Record.”

“I just finished the last session with Dennis Chambers, Will Lee & Brian Charette, also on the record are Dave Weckl, James Genus,  Vinnie Colaiuta, John Patitucci, with a lot of my friends guesting like Wallace Roney, Adam Rogers, Jason Lindner, David Kikoski, John Sneider, etc. Also just recorded a new record project with Akira Jimbo.”

Oz – “I sat in with Eric Krazno at the Blues Note NYC a few weeks ago.”

Oz – “Other than that, just some 55Bar gigs here an there in NYC.”
