Zakk Jones presents an ongoing series of totally FREE masterclasses and performances featuring renowned musicians and educators from around the world.

“We’re excited to officially announce our 2020 Jazz Master Camp lineup!

This will be our ongoing series of totally FREE masterclasses and performances featuring renowned musicians and educators from around the world. It’s important to keep the spirit of great education going even amidst uncertain circumstances.

We have three great clinics this week on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 7pm Central. You’ll hear from NYC-based trumpeter Alex Owen talk about traditional New Orleans music and give tips on bandleading. Thursday you’ll see guitarists Zakk Jones & Brandon Coleman play some duo tunes and discuss the very basics of soloing over a blues + much more. Finally, on Friday, our 2020 Jazz Master Camp Director Zakk Jones will tell you all about his list of “Things That Don’t Take Talent”. These videos will be going live at 7pm Eastern Wed – Friday but they will be available to watch and rewatch at any time after that on Facebook or Youtube pages.
