…”Hoagy Sings Carmichael,” “Ella Fitzgerald Sings the Johnny Mercer Songbook,” and the Chris Cheek masterpiece “I Wish I Knew.” He then improvises two choruses with a straight-8ths, ECM-ish backing track.
