Guitarist Ted Ludwig demonstrates the Megas custom archtop by Ted Megas from the incredible Blue Guitar Collection – video #1 in the series.

In a world full of cellulose binding this Megas Custom by Ted Megas stands out with its beautiful Cocobolo binding and appointments. This is an elegant instrument with a rich bass response and liquid trebles. Like most of the instruments in the collection the blue lacquer has changed into a deep blue-green patina which we think looks even better against the cocobolo and brass. 

Each week Jazz Guitar Today will feature one of the Archtop Foundation’s acquisitions from the Blue Guitar Collection with videos of luminary guitarist Ted Ludwig performing on each one.
