Marko Čepak And John Stowell Perform “Unity Village”
In this video, Marko Čepak and John Stowell perform a song by Pat Metheny, Unity Village.
Marko Čepak: The song is called “Unity Village” by Pat Metheny. The sessions are called SoundResearch and we are using SebAmp amplification that and I John both play. SebAmp amps are built by Sebastjan Ličen from Slovenia. This is one of four videos that John Stowell and I did in late October while we were on a tour in Italy, Slovenia, and Croatia. We were touring with our quartet (John Stowell & Marko Čepak Quartet) with Simone Serafini( Italy) on double bass and Borko Rupena (Croatia) on drums.
That day we had a day off with the quartet and used the day to drive to Piran which is a beautiful old town on the Slovenian coast in the Adriatic sea right next to Italy and Croatia. We did this video with my friend Gaber Radojevic who does these SoundResearch sessions with his father Gorast Radojevic who was responsible for the video part. The session took place in an old and beautiful theatre of Piran.
