Jazz guitarist Vince Lewis continues his JGT Arrangement SeriesΒ with Lonesome Road Blues.
“The Lonesome Road” is also known as “Lonesome Road Blues” and “Look Down that Lonesome Road.”Β It was written in 1927 in the style of an African American Folk Song. It was recorded by Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Stevie Wonder, Sam Cooke plus many others and has remained popular to this day.Β This is another mid-level chord melody arrangement in a light swing style.
