New Songbook From Steve Masakowski

 “The Blue Book” is a comprehensive collection of sixty-one original compositions by the New Orleans-based jazz musician, composer, and educator Steve Masakowski.

 “The Blue Book” songbook showcases tracks from Steve Masakowski’s CD releases and collaborations with renowned artists such as Dave Liebman, Rick Margitza, Ellis Marsalis, and the acclaimed New Orleans jazz group, Astral Project. It features many of his iconic songs such as Sidewalk Strut, Steppin’ Out, VooDooBop, Hector’s Lecture, and What It Was.

In addition to the sheet music, the book includes lyrics for several songs penned by Jay Miles Griggs, Sasha Masakowski, and others. It also boasts a rich visual experience, featuring numerous photographs and artwork contributed by Ulrike Masakowski. The book includes annotations and remarks about each song, providing recording details that can be utilized to locate the tracks on platforms like Spotify and YouTube.
