Perry Smith, John Storie, and Will Brahm make up the guitar trio known as New West Guitars.  All three have virtuosic command and solo careers.  When they come together magic happens.  Contained in this interview is the secret to some of that magic.  I met these three phenomenal players at the Rocky Mountain Archtop Festival on Sept 23 in Arvada, CO. and I can tell you their performances had everyone everything from appreciative to mesmerized.  This is an exciting guitar group and we at JGT are proud to present them as our December cover interview.

John Storie is a Los Angeles-based guitarist, vocalist, bandleader, arranger, and composer. 

Perry Smith combines the tradition of Jazz with broad influences from contemporary music to create his signature style. 

Will Brahm is an LA-based jazz guitarist who tours the US extensively.
