Jazz guitarist Vince Lewis continues his JGT Arrangement Series with “I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You”.

This tune was released in the 1961 Movie Blue Hawaii and on the matching soundtrack album by Elvis Presley. It was originally a French love song from the 1700s and adapted to an Americanized version. A beautiful melody, it lends itself to either being played as a slow Ballad or Medium Bossa Nova and is truly fun to solo through as the chord progression is somewhat simplistic but fun to reharmonize to fill out the harmonies.
