Jazz guitarist Vince Lewis continues his JGT Arrangement Series with the classic, “I’ll Never Fall In Love Again”.
I’ll Never Fall In Love Again was written for the Musical Promises, Promises by Burt Bacharach and Hal David in 1968. One of the most popular recordings was by Dionne Warwick which was the top song on Billboard Easy Listening Chart for 3 weeks. She actually won a Grammy Award the next year with this tune for Best Pop Performance. A combination of a great chord progression, catchy melody line and interesting meter change makes this one of my all-time favorite songs to play for audiences of all ages.
