In this video lesson, Mooney analyzes Henry Mancini’s uber-standard “Days of Wine and Roses” from the 1962 movie. He considers the original second chord of the tune, explores renditions from Wes Montgomery, Oscar Peterson, and Bill Evans (with both Tony Bennett and Toots Thielmans), and plays two choruses over a backing track.
