Jazz guitarist Vince Lewis continues his JGT Arrangement Series with a Beatles classic, “And I Love Her”.
“And I Love Her” was written primarily by Paul McCartney and released on the Beatles third album on July 20 1964. Interestingly the Beatles performed it live only once on a BBC radio show and it has been covered by multiple artists of all genres from pop to Jazz.
A beautiful and haunting melody with simple chord changes and one of the most recognizable intros of any tune ever written. This is an excellent arrangement for guitarists just beginning to explore playing Chord Melodies as well as experienced players who love playing great music.
