Jazz Guitar Today Welcomes Chuck Anderson!

Jazz Guitar Today welcomes Chuck Anderson as a JGT contributor!
As a guitarist and composer, Chuck has recorded 10 CDs. As an educator, Chuck lectures at colleges in the United States and Europe. In addition, he has privately trained professional musicians, composers and music educators. As an author, Chuck has published over twenty-four books on guitar and music. Publications include: “Music Pursuing the Horizon”, “My Life in Music”, ”An Improvisational Approach to Rock and Blues Guitar” and more. It’s pretty clear…Chuck just squeaked by the JGT ‘contributor prerequisite’ 🙂

JGT would like to share a performance of the Chuck Anderson Trio from a sold out concert at Chaplin’s Music Cafe in Spring City, PA. The venue is named after Charlie Chaplin who performed there back in the day. The trio consists of Eric Schreiber on bass, Ed Rick on drums, and Chuck on that nice L5 guitar. The performance is also found on a DVD, “The Chuck Anderson Trio Live at Chaplin’s Music Cafe”. Enjoy…
The Chuck Anderson Trio performs originals and jazz covers. The trio works exclusively in concert venues. Their original arrangements on jazz classics give a fresh take on familiar material. The wide-ranging repertoire includes standards, jazz classics, Brazilian music, and originals.
