The Back Page: Dinner Out with…Tommy Tedesco, Jimmy Bruno, John Pisano, Frank Zappa, & Joe Pass
Dinner at the Pasta Amici in LA from ’83. Photo by Jimmy Bruno.
From the left to right – Tommy Tedesco, Jack Ranelli, unknown (sorry), Charlie Chiarenza (guitarist and owner of the Pasta Amici restaurant), John Pisano, Frank Zappa, and Joe Pass. On this particular night, Jimmy Bruno was playing with Tommy Tedesco and Joe Pass… Tommy and Jimmy would play regularly on Tuesday nights at the Pasta Amici (one of Tommy Tedesco’s favorite restaurants). BTW – that’s Tommy’s 1956 Gibson ES-175. Awesome photo – thanks
