In this installment of Ted Ludwig’s ‘Lick of the Week’, Ted takes a look at ‘5 note sequences’.Â
This line works great on several types of static chords. Originally intended for a C-6 or C-7 chord, it also works well on an F9 (13) or Eb Maj7 #11 chords. This line uses a passing tone to extend a sequence to 5 note groupings. Try this concept on some of your 4 note sequences. Enjoy. And thanks for tuning in! See you next time.
