In this installment of Ted Ludwigβs Jazz ‘Lick of the Week’, Ted explores another great line over John Coltraneβs classic βGiant Steps”.
This lick fits beautifully over the second cycle in the Coltrane Classic βGiant Steps β starting with GMaj7 Bb7 EbMaj7 F#9 BMaj7. The equidistant movement of these changes allows for simple symmetrical shifts in the line.
Good luck and thanks for dropping by. Enjoy!!!
