In this installment of Ted Ludwig’s Jazz ‘Lick of the Week’, Ted explores another great line over John Coltrane’s classic “Giant Steps”.
This lick fits beautifully over the second cycle in the Coltrane Classic “Giant Steps “ starting with GMaj7 Bb7 EbMaj7 F#9 BMaj7. The equidistant movement of these changes allows for simple symmetrical shifts in the line.
Good luck and thanks for dropping by. Enjoy!!!
