In this JGT video, Davy Mooney explores Tom Jobim’s beautiful tune “Dindi.” The song was recorded numerous times in the 1960s, by Jobim, Astrud Gilberto, Frank Sinatra, Wayne Shorter, Joe Pass, and many others. Mooney explores these versions and explains how he improvises on the tune’s harmony.
