George Price

Born in the Oregon mountains, George Price started taking piano lessons at age 6, followed by trumpet at age 10. When he heard Jimi Hendrix's first record, he just had to be a guitarist. After that he was inseparable from his guitar and music in general, taking classes in everything from pep band (playing tuba parts on bass guitar) to swing choir to stage band (big band jazz). George then spent years on the road with soul bands, rock bands, lounge bands, and large show acts. Since then he's played countless hours on stage and in the studio including shows with The Platters and The Coasters, Delbert McClinton, Sandra Hall, Heaven Davis, Patrick Vining, Larry Griffith, Lola Gulley, Sarasota Slim, Lucky Peterson, Chelsea Shag, Kennesaw State Jazz Ensemble, and many others. He has performed in Buddy Guy's Legends Club in Chicago. George has taught over 1,000 guitarists in the Atlanta area, and has hosted or co-hosted a couple dozen jams. George also has a love of electronics and technology, and his technical certifications include MCSE and Microsoft Certified Trainer.
