New JGT video series of advanced instruction – in this video, Mooney explains how he approaches solo guitar in a more informal, blowing context.
Rather than work out a detailed arrangement of a standard, as he did with “I Got it Bad” in a previous video, Mooney treats “Like Someone in Love” to a head arrangement followed by improvising, using various accompaniment techniques which he demonstrates and describes.
