Dave Frackenpohl Transcribes Chet Baker For Guitar
Guitarist and educator Dave Frackenpohl transcribes the chorus on Chet Baker’s ‘Bud’s Blues’.
Dave Frackenpohl: Trumpeter Chet Baker was associated with the cool jazz style. He was a very lyrical player with roots in bop (he was a sideman with Charlie Parker early on). He was also very popular as a jazz vocalist.
Go get your guitar and run through this and his subsequent lessons, I know it will be new ground for a lot of you and certainly worth the time of the seasoned players.
