Guitarist Ted Ludwig demonstrates the Walker Blue Empress from the Blue Guitar Collection – video #8 in the series.
Having retired from archtop luthiery to concentrate on flat top acoustics Kim Walker is an enigma to many. His instruments are rare – few players get the chance to experience more than a handful – and extraordinarily musical with an open voice rich with overtones. You’ll enjoy this one!
Each week Jazz Guitar Today will feature one of the Archtop Foundation’s acquisitions from the Blue Guitar Collection with videos of luminary guitarist Ted Ludwig performing on each one.
Videos produced by Michael Watts with the Archtop Foundation.
