New Solo Guitar Album From Rick Cornish
“Solo” presents original, unaccompanied guitar interpretations from the Great American Songbook, themes from the hard bop era, a beloved traditional song, and an original composition.
Rick Cornish’s composition “Seven Songs for Guitar” strikes a contemporary tone while remaining true to his jazz roots. These brief themes exhibit influences ranging from Satie to Villa Lobos to Hindemith, Britten, and Ornette Coleman.
