Giuseppe Continenza

Born into a musical family, Giuseppe has been playing guitar most of his life. It was at age of seven that's his musical interests began. He studied classical guitar at the Classical Music Academy in Pescara (Italy) and later moved to California in order to study at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, studying with Joe Diorio, Ted Greene, Howard Roberts, Don Mock, Scott Henderson, Pat Martino, Robben Ford, Ron Escheté, Gary Willis and others. He is chair of Jazz Guitar at the “L. D'Annunzio” Conservatory in Pescara, Italy, and in 1994 he founded the European Musicians Institute which is one of the most advanced European music schools. He is touring for 20 years with Biréli Lagrène and he has also performed and recorded with Joe Diorio, Jimmy Bruno, Martin Taylor, a Jack Wilkins, Gene Bertoncini, David Friesen, Bobby Watson, Gary Willis, Vic Juris, Dominique Di Piazza, and many others.
