In this installment of Ted Ludwig’s ‘Lick of the Week’, Ted features a line that works great on a D-7 or G13 static chord.
The position shifts by the use of a cascading chromatic idea and the One Finger Slide. This is a great way to connect between scale forms but does take a bit of practice to perfect. Start slow then gradually pick up the pace. Also, the use of passing tones and enclosures give this line some color. Enjoy. And thanks for tuning in! See you next time.
